The value of failure

Today, in a changing world, where technologies evolve rapidly and where there are various forms of innovation, we have verified that failure is not a ghost, but a probable companion in any initiative that seeks to change or reinvent what already exists. Failure is perhaps the great inhibitor for many, but at the same time it is the most reliable and powerful source of learning we can have.

There are different "schools" of failure in innovation, and rapid failure is one of the strongest. However, failing quickly cannot be an objective in itself, since it limits you to investing in solutions with a low probability of failing, which is, investing in something you already know.

The truth is that reducing the risk of innovation is a prerequisite for making good use of resources and developing an innovative culture. For this reason, when making innovation we should set as final objective for ourselves "using failure to learn fast", that is the true value of failure.
