Challenge:

This project arises from the need to be able to transport ore in satellite deposits located 60 km south of Minera Antucoya, in order to fill available plant capacity between 2022 and 2029.

Solution:

It consists of studying different alternatives for the transport of material, seeking -in the first instance- to make it economically viable to transfer the ore from satellite deposits to Minera Antucoya.

Objectives:

1. Study non-conventional alternatives of material transport, in order to find a lower cost option with respect to the traditional methods..
2. Propose new alternatives for transporting ore and analyze their economic feasibility.
